As the flagship school of the University system, the University of Georgia is proud to support its veteran students and our Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) does a fantastic job of providing the supportive resources that students need. The MBA Programs enroll the largest percentage of veteran students at the University, and the Full-Time MBA program works closely with the SVRC. an MBA '17 grad, Dan Phillips, served as a Graduate Assistant for the SVRC, and he along with his predecessor, Adam Johnson, MBA '16, made valuable contributions to the campus in that role. Learn more about the contributions of our students and the work of the SVRC in this news story. Go Dawgs!

One Student's Pre-MBA Journey: Cycling for A Cause

The summer before starting an MBA program is a time to prepare, refocus, regenerate, wrap up projects, pack boxes, revise resumes, and all the other activities related to starting a new life in a new place. For one of our incoming MBA students, David Paris, this summer is a time to give back. He is spending part of his summer cycling to raise money for Lost-n-Found, an Atlanta-based non-profit that provides services to homeless LGBT youth. More than 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBT. Organizations like Lost-n-Found survive on grants and private donations. David hopes to raise $4,000 on his ride and we wish him well for his journey and look forward to hearing about his trek at Orientation this fall!
